SEND Administrator Barnsley, S74 £13,239.68 - £13,450.79 actual salary Working type: 21 hours/39 weeks Start date: ASAP Contract type: 1 year Fixed Term Contract Unique School Solutions are supporting a successful Secondary School in the S74 area of Barnsley to appoint a SEND Administrator to work on a part-time basis starting as soon as possible. This is a 1 year Fixed Term Contract position. About the school: * Ofsted graded “Good” school * Part of a large academy trust * Supportive and long-standing leadership team * Strong community links Main duties will include: * Organise and maintain effective filing system, both paper and electronic providing an efficient working environment * Update and maintain the SEND register to liaise with appropriate staff to ensure that the information entered on the MIS system are accurate and timely * Maintain SEND/Inclusion sections of the shared network area and maintain the provision map of all inclusion support * Develop, maintain and update SEND policies and documents on the academy’s ICT system and notice board * Collate, copy and circulate reports on SEND students as appropriate * Responsible for word processing individual education plans and their reviews and communicating to all the relevant parties * Undertake the administration of all review meetings, including collation of staff reports, completion of review meeting proformas, circulation of necessary reports and documents for all parties.
