Your Role as a SEND Supply Teacher:
Plan and teach engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of SEND students across various age groups and abilities.
Foster a nurturing environment where students feel safe, supported, and empowered to succeed.
Work closely with SENCOs, teaching assistants, and external professionals to ensure holistic support.
Track student development, provide constructive feedback, and adapt strategies to meet evolving needs.
Uphold safeguarding standards and maintain a secure learning environment at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
Proven experience working with SEND students in educational settings.
A ten-year career history with references covering the last two years, including your most recent academic role.
A patient, understanding, and adaptable approach to teaching.
Able to build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
Willing to innovate and adjust teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
Qualifications in SEND or related areas are highly desirable.
Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
