SEND Support Assistant – Outstanding SEND School
Location: Eccles, Greater Manchester
Salary: £100-£115 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only
Forever Teaching are currently working in partnership with an Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' secondary school in Eccles, seeking a dedicated SEND Support Assistant to join their welcoming and supportive team this September.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support both in and out of the classroom, working across all year groups to help students thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.
Role Overview:

Deliver 1:1 and small group support tailored to students with a range of SEND needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and MLD)
*
Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCO to implement EHCPs and personalised learning plans
*
Foster independence, engagement, and confidence in pupils both in class and during unstructured times
*
Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies in line with school policies
We’re Looking For:

Previous experience supporting young people with SEND (school, youth work, care or similar setting)
*
A calm, patient and resilient attitude
*
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*
A genuine passion for helping students reach their full potential
