Academic Appointments are now working in Partnership with Leeds City Council Schools as part of the approved Agencies List. As a result of this we are supporting the cities wonderful SEND Schools and one in particular needs your skills and expertise for a range of Full-Time roles in the new year.
Ideal candidates wiill want to work on an initial supply basis but with the desire to become permanent members of staff at the school after a term. Moving directly to being employed by the council will give you access to State Pension, sick pay, pay in line with Scale and access to CPD and HR Support from Leeds CC.
The roles we are looking to recruit for are as follows:
Primary SEND Support (ASD/Complex Communication)
Behaviour Support (SEMH) Primary & Secondary Aged
Complex Communication Worker
Sensory Support Assistants
EduCarers
Post 16+ Life Skills and Vocational Guidance

Providing one-to-one and small-group support

Working collaboratively with teachers, parents and external specialists

Can Work Full-Time to offer Consistency to young learners
