SEND Support Worker
Location: Near Ossett, West Yorkshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 4.5 hours per day
Start Date: September
Contract: Long-term, term-time only

We are currently seeking a dedicated SEND Support Worker to provide 1:1 support for a reception-aged pupil with Autism. The child is non-verbal and engages in a lot of sensory play, with a key focus on developing communication. There are no behavioural or physical challenges—this is a calm and supportive role for someone who genuinely enjoys early years and SEND support.
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience supporting children with Autism, ideally in an EYFS or primary setting
Be patient, caring, and enthusiastic about child development
Have strong communication skills and an understanding of alternative communication methods
Be reliable and committed to making a positive impact in a child's early education
