SEND Learning Support Assistant - Hounslow 🌟
Location: Hounslow
Contract: Full-time, Long-term (with potential to go permanent)
Start: ASAP or January 2026
Salary: £90-£110 per day (depending on experience)

Do you have experience working with pupils who have SLD, PMLD, or ASD?
We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and inclusive Special School in Hounslow. The school caters for pupils with a range of complex needs and is known for its nurturing environment, excellent resources, and strong staff support.
Your role will include:
Supporting students aged 4-19 with special educational needs, including SLD, PMLD, and ASD.
Assisting the class teacher in delivering creative, engaging lessons tailored to each pupil's needs.
Providing personal care and physical support where necessary.
Using communication tools such as PECS, Makaton, or sensory strategies (experience desirable but not essential).
Working closely with a skilled multidisciplinary team to help each child reach their full potential.
You will need:
Experience working with children or young people with SEND (in a school, care, or community setting).
A patient, caring, and flexible approach.
A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
A valid DBS or willingness to apply for one.
