Education Personnel are delighted to be recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf of one of our outstanding specialist education partners. This opportunity is based within a warm, highly supportive setting where children and young people with complex needs are encouraged to grow in confidence, communication, independence, and wellbeing.
This school is known for its calm, structured atmosphere and its deeply nurturing approach. Pupils learn in small classes supported by skilled staff who prioritise understanding and positive relationships. Learning spaces are thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of autistic pupils and those with communication or social-emotional differences. You’ll find sensory rooms, quiet breakout areas, peaceful outdoor spaces, and creative learning zones that help pupils stay engaged and regulated throughout the day.
What makes this environment so special is its holistic approach. Education doesn’t begin and end at the classroom door—students benefit from therapeutic support, outdoor exploration, hands-on learning experiences, and tailored programmes that help them build real-world skills and personal confidence. Staff work closely together to ensure every child is known, understood, and supported to make meaningful progress.
Your Contribution:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be a key part of this supportive team. You’ll help deliver personalised learning, build positive connections with pupils, and adapt activities so each learner can access the curriculum in a way that makes sense for them.
