About Us:
We are proud to be working with a diverse and inclusive school. The school is looking for a SEND TA to work alongside a team of 4 adults to support 11 pupils. If you would like to work in an enriched environment as a SEND TA, then this is the school for you! As a SEND TA, you will be required to provide both 1:1 and group support to children with varying SEN. The school strongly believes in preparing every child for their future.
Key Responsibilities:
Work as a SEND TA
Supporting young children with SEN
Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.
Work collaboratively as part of a team
Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
Previous experience working in a Primary School
Experience working with children with SEN
Understanding of varying types of SEN
