We are looking for a dedicated and passionate SEND Teacher to join one of our partner schools based in Aston. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher who is committed to supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs.
You will be working with pupils who have diverse SEND needs, delivering high-quality, differentiated teaching that supports their academic, social, and emotional development. The role involves close collaboration with the SENCO, teaching assistants, and external professionals to ensure every child receives the support they need.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning and delivering engaging, personalised lessons
* Supporting pupils with EHCPs and individual learning plans
* Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
* Using a range of strategies to manage behaviour positively
* Working closely with support staff, parents, and specialist teams
* Monitoring, assessing, and recording pupil progress
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with SEND pupils (SEMH, ASD, MLD, PMLD or similar)
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Patience, empathy, and a child-centred approach
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet a variety of needs
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
