SEND Teacher - Specialist Provisions (Central Lancashire) πŸ“ Location: Central Lancashire (including Preston, Chorley, Leyland & surrounding areas) πŸ•’ Hours: Full-Time, Term Time Only (08:30am - 15:30/16:00pm) πŸ’° Pay: Β£165 - Β£220 per day (depending on experience and M-scale) πŸ“… Start Date: January 2026 About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Teacher to join one of our specialist provisions in the Central Lancashire area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher who is committed to supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. As an SEND Teacher, you will plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet individual learning goals, promote positive behaviour, and create a safe, inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive. You'll be supported by a skilled team of Learning Support Assistants and senior leaders who share your dedication to making a real difference. What We're Looking For: βœ… Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE (essential) βœ… Experience teaching learners with SEND and/or SEMH needs βœ… Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills βœ… A nurturing, resilient, and adaptable approach to teaching βœ… Willingness to travel up to 20-30 minutes to work Requirements: Minimum 24 months of employment references with no unexplained gaps Must hold a current Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (UDS), or be willing to apply and pay for one prior to starting What's on Offer: 🌟 Full-time, term-time only position 🌟 Supportive and inclusive school environments 🌟 Competitive daily rate (Β£165-Β£220, dependent on experience and scale) 🌟 Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in specialist education settings APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR SPENCER CLARKE GROUP All applications are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with our stringent safeguarding policy * Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained * You must have legal right to work in the UK * You must be willing to attend a registration interview All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
