The Role As an SEN Teacher, you'll deliver engaging, personalised learning to pupils with a range of additional needs, including: * Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) * ADHD * Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs * Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) * Moderate, Severe and Profound Learning Difficulties (MLD, SLD and PMLD) Your responsibilities will include: * Planning and delivering differentiated lessons that meet individual learning needs. * Creating a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment. * Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where required. * Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and external professionals. * Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development. * Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive outcomes for every learner. * Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and wellbeing. What We're Looking For The successful candidate will have: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. * Experience teaching children or young people with Special Educational Needs in either mainstream or specialist settings. * Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills. * A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach to teaching. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one. * The right to work in the UK.
