Protocol Education is recruiting a dedicated SEND Teacher for a specialist school in Street, Somerset (BA16).
We welcome applications from qualified teachers with experience across Primary or Secondary education who are passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs.
Your Role
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
Adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs.
Support pupils with a range of SEND and complex needs.
Promote positive behaviour, confidence, and independence.
Monitor progress and provide appropriate support.
Work closely with Teaching Assistants and the wider SEND team.
Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
We are looking for:
UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
Primary or Secondary teaching experience.
A genuine passion for SEND education.
Previous SEND experience is highly desirable.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Patience, resilience, and excellent communication skills.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
