Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a secondary teacher in a unique special educational needs school for pupils with social, emotional, behavioural and mental health needs in Rugeley.
This is a small special school, currently catering for pupils from KS3 to KS4 and offering a curriculum based on a child’s right to ‘Learn, Grow and Thrive’ . This school is passionate that all young people deserve to achieve and succeed and will do so, with the right guidance, academic and pastoral support. This position will begin in September 2025 and be ongoing for the full academic year.
The ideal candidate will have successful experience of teaching within a secondary environment. Due to the small size of this school, teachers are often required to teach an additional lesson’s on occasion. As the school caters for young people with a wide range of needs, candidates will need to be flexible in the delivery of the curriculum and be experienced in planning for educational needs across the full ability range.
The Role:
* We are looking for someone with experience in either mainstream or special educational needs environments.
* You will need to be confident in your ability support individuals with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
* You will receive outstanding support from a strong network of staff.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
