SEND Teacher Opportunity - September Start | East London | Full-Time | Paid to Scale 🌟
Empowering Learning is working in partnership with a supportive and well-established special needs school in East London, and we are looking to appoint a dedicated SEND Teacher for a full-time position starting in September. This is a long-term role with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.
🕗 Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
💼 Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term (Temp to Perm)
💰 Pay: MPS/UPS - Paid to Scale (Negotiable)
🌱 About the Role:
Position: SEND Teacher
Class Size: Small group of 7 pupils
Needs: Autism (ASD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
Support: 3 skilled and experienced Teaching Assistants in class
You will be leading a well-resourced and supportive classroom, delivering personalised learning experiences to pupils with complex and profound needs. The school is known for its nurturing environment, inclusive ethos, and strong focus on pupil progress and development.
The provision caters to children with a range of needs including ASD, communication difficulties, developmental delays, and significant learning challenges.
✅ We're Looking for a Teacher Who:
Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Has experience working with children with Autism and/or SLD
Demonstrates a calm, patient, and flexible teaching approach
Is committed to inclusive practice and differentiated learning
