Are you a qualified teacher looking to make an impact in Special Educational Needs?
GSL Education are currently seeking a committed SEND Teacher to work in specialist and mainstream settings in Gainsborough, supporting pupils with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. As a SEND Teacher, you will play a vital role in developing tailored lessons and nurturing an inclusive classroom environment.
Responsibilities as a SEND Teacher:
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
Work with TAs and support staff to implement EHCPs and individual strategies.
Liaise with SENCOs, therapists, and parents to monitor progress.
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
Requirements for SEND Teacher:
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
Experience working in a SEND or inclusive education setting.
Knowledge of a range of needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD or SLD.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain).
Full CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained.
