Salary: £150 – £220 per day (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced SEND Teacher passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in a nurturing and inclusive school environment?
GSL Education are currently recruiting a committed SEND Teacher to join a welcoming school in Gainsborough. This is an excellent opportunity for SEND Teacher to deliver personalised, high-quality teaching that enables pupils to thrive academically and socially.
Responsibilities as a SEND Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEND, in line with the national curriculum and their individual EHCPs.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
Work collaboratively with SENCOs, teaching assistants, parents, and external agencies to ensure holistic support.
Implement positive behaviour management strategies to maintain an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
Contribute to the development and review of individual learning plans and interventions.
Participate fully in school life, including staff meetings, professional development, and extracurricular activities.
Requirements for SEND Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK is essential.
Proven experience teaching pupils with SEND, preferably within primary or secondary settings.
Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and best teaching practices.
Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
Full, up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps in employment explained.
