About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Special Needs Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will work with pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, delivering high-quality, individualised teaching that enables every child to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils’ individual learning needs.

Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and external professionals to ensure effective provision.

Use a range of strategies and resources to support pupils with needs such as autism, learning difficulties, speech and language needs, or social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
*
Monitor and assess progress, setting realistic and ambitious targets.
*
Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
*
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers to support holistic development.
*
Contribute to the wider life of the school and support whole-school inclusion initiatives.
Person Specification
*
Qualified Teacher Status.
*
Experience of teaching pupils with SEND.
*
Knowledge of current SEND strategies, interventions, and best practice.
*
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
*
A nurturing, flexible, and resilient approach.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
