Are you a passionate and dedicated SEND Secondary Teacher looking to make a real difference?
Academics are currently working with a welcoming & supportive secondary in Halifax to recruit an experienced, compassionate SEND Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a committed team & help support pupils with a range of SEND in accessing & engaging with the curriculum.
As SEND Secondary Teacher, you will:
Deliver personalised lessons to students with EHCPs & additional needs
Be adaptable with your teaching
Work with the SENCO, teaching assistants, other agencies
Create a safe, nurturing, inclusive learning environment
✅ The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent, with experience working with students with SEND
A strong understanding of differentiated teaching methods & behaviour strategies
Excellent communication & teamwork skills
A patient, resilient, empathetic approach
