Class Teacher - Specialist SEMH Setting (Full-Time, Permanent) 🌟 Job Title: Class Teacher Grade: Teachers Main Pay - UPR + SEN (£2,679) Area: Rochdale, Greater Manchester Start Date: November 2025 Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent (All Year Round) Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 + SEN £2,679 Working Pattern: All Year Round 📅 Closing date: Thursday 2nd October 2025 Interview Date: Week commencing 6th October 2025 🏫 About the school: A nurturing and inclusive specialist SEMH setting for Key Stage 2 to 4 learners with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). This is your chance to play a pivotal role in creating a school that puts relationships, well-being, and opportunity at its heart. 🧩 About the Role: Teach a broad and balanced curriculum within our nurturing pathway for pupils in Key Stages 2-4 Use trauma-informed and relational approaches to build trust and engagement Focus on developing pupils' emotional well-being, social skills, and readiness to learn Work in partnership with colleagues, families, and professionals to support each child's unique journey Contribute to the creation of a warm, inclusive learning environment where every young person feels valuedWhat We're Looking For: A qualified teacher with knowledge of the KS2-4 curriculum Experience of working with pupils with SEMH and additional needs A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to teaching and behaviour support Creativity and flexibility to design learning that truly engages pupils Excellent communication and teamwork skillsTo Be Eligible You Must: Hold the Right to Work in the UK Have QTS (or equivalent) and be able to evidence your qualifications Hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate Provide two professional child-related references Be confident communicating with pupils, families, and colleagues in accurate spoken English📝 Please submit your up-to-date CV to be considered.
