Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)

Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £89–£99 per day (PAYE, weekly pay)
Contract: Full-time, long-term (potential to become permanent)

We’re working with a welcoming Catholic primary school in Birmingham with a strong community spirit and a brand-new, purpose-built SEND Hub. They’re looking for a dedicated and experienced SEND TA to join their team full-time in September, supporting pupils with additional needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
The role has the potential to go long-term or permanent for the right person.

1:1 support for pupils with EHCPs and additional needs
Working closely with the SENDCO and class teachers
Supporting learning, emotional regulation, and classroom engagement
Helping to build pupil confidence and routines through consistency and care
We’re looking for someone who:
✔️ Has experience supporting children with SEND in a school setting
✔️ Has worked 1:1 and/or in small group interventions
✔️ Is calm, patient, and able to build strong relationships
✔️ Can work confidently within a Catholic school setting (faith not required, but respect for ethos is essential)
