The Role:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with diverse needs.
Assist with personal care tasks, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene-always maintaining dignity and respect.
Support pupils with SLD, ASD, and physical/sensory challenges across the school day.
Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to promote student progress and well-being.
Requirements:
Right to work in the UK
Previous experience supporting individuals with SEND
A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to support young people with complex needs
