This is a renowned SEND school offering tailored learning provisions to pupils ranging from 4 to 18 years old. Vacancy Details:
* L2 Teaching Assistant position
* Working with a high proportion of autistic pupils, as well as those with other SEN such as ADHD, and other sensory and physical needs.
* Full time, term time only
* Working in close collaboration with class teachers and the school SENDCO
* Playing an active part in maintaining the schools excellent learning environment
Candidate Requirements:
To be considered for this role candidates must have / be able to demonstrate:
* A teaching assistant qualification of at least L2, L3 preferred
* Experience of providing TA support in a school based setting for at least 1 term
* Demonstrable experience of working with Autistic learners
* Full enhanced DBS certificate
* Completion of the Merit Education Onboarding Process
* The ability to show a genuine desire and passion for working as a teaching assistant
* A minimum of 2 school based references
