Job Description

A vibrant and supportive three-form entry Primary School in Tower Hamlets, where "togetherness" truly sums up their ethos is looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant for an asap, 5 day a week position. 

Committment to supporting all the children in the class including the SEND pupils, flexibility and confidence is a must!

Pay rates of between £90 -£110 per day. This ASAP role is 5 days a week until July and hours are 8.30Am -16.00.

As the successful SEND Teaching Assistant you will:

Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including 1:1 and small group work.

Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to deliver tailored support.

Help adapt and scaffold lessons so that all pupils access the curriculum effectively.

Contribute to planning, assessment, and record-keeping, ensuring that progress is consistently monitored.

Provide pastoral support, building strong, trusting relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.

Who should apply:

Experienced SEND Experience ideally in a Primary School
An Enhanced Child Only DBS and/or Overseas Police checks
A CV that covers your employment and education history since you finished formal education and any employment breaks must be explained
