Complete Classroom Services are looking for SEND Teaching Assistants to support students aged 5 – 18 years in at a SEND school based in Crawley.
Requirements:
· Previous experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting.
· Experience with SEND which could include ASD, complex needs, Speech and Language, PMLD, MLD, SLD.
· Primary or Secondary curriculum knowledge
· Be able to maintain high standards of health and safety.
Essential Skills
· Be Patient, enthusiastic and resilient.
· Know how to differentiate: each child learns differently.
· Maintain a flexible ‘can do’ approach.
· Able to work 1:1 or with small groups.
· Appropriately use recording and reporting processes whenever appropriate.
