Job Description:
We are looking for a compassionate and proactive SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and complex needs. This role includes working closely with non-verbal students and those requiring Makaton or alternative communication strategies. You will play a crucial part in maintaining an inclusive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.
Required Experience and Qualifications:

Experience supporting pupils with PMLD and complex needs

Confidence in using or a willingness to learn Makaton
*
Ability to assist non-verbal students
*
Strong understanding of SEND strategies and personalised support
