Female Teaching Assistant (with Intimate Care Duties)
Start Date: September 2025 | Full Academic Year (Subject to Review)

Principal Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a supportive and inclusive school that is seeking a dedicated Female Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This role involves providing one-to-one and small-group support for pupils, including intimate care responsibilities for female students with additional needs.
Key Details:
Role: Female Teaching Assistant (with Intimate Care duties)
Start: September 2025
Duration: Full academic year (subject to performance and ongoing student needs)
Hours: Full-time, term-time only
Location: Tower Hamlets
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the learning and development of female students with additional needs
Assisting with personal care routines, including intimate care
Promoting independence, dignity, and inclusion
Working closely with teaching staff and SEN teams to provide consistent support
Maintaining accurate records and upholding safeguarding and confidentiality protocols
Requirements:
Female TA (in line with the school’s specific care needs and in compliance with Equality Act exemptions)
Prior experience in a care or SEN support setting is highly desirable
Compassionate, reliable, and professional
Comfortable and confident in providing intimate care (training can be provided)
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
