Job Description

SEND Teaching Assistant (Full time) Central Liverpool £90-98 per day September 2025 - ongoing The School and the Role Vision for Education are working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive Secondary School located in Central Liverpool, who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive SEND Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, supporting students across KS3 and KS4 with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and Special Educational Needs (SEN). The role will commence in September 2025 and continue through to the end of the academic year (July 2026). The Role: As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work with a small caseload of students on a one-to-one and small group basis, helping them access the curriculum and overcome barriers to learning. The students you will be supporting may present with a range of needs including: Neurodiversity (e.g., Autism, ADHD) Cognition and Learning Difficulties Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs You will work closely with the school’s SENDCo, teaching staff, and external professionals to ensure the individual needs of each student are met in line with their EHCPs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
