📍 Islington, London
📅 Start Date: September 2025 - July 2026
🕗 08:30am - 12:30pm (Monday to Friday)
🕒 From November 2025: 08:30am - 3:30pm, 3 days a week
Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a fulfilling part-time role in Early Years education?
Alex at SANZA Teaching Agency is working closely with a warm and welcoming nursery in the London Borough of Islington, who are seeking an outstanding 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.
This rewarding position is focused on supporting a child with high needs Autism (ASC) on a 1:1 basis. The successful candidate will be patient, nurturing, and skilled in using strategies that support communication, sensory needs, and emotional regulation in the Early Years.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience supporting children with high needs ASC in a nursery or Early Years setting
A calm, flexible and proactive approach to working within a busy Early Years environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and families
This is a part-time role (15-20 hours/week) with hours increasing after October half term (November 2025). Due to changing support needs across the year, flexibility is essential.
