Job Description
Teaching Assistant needed for a Y4 pupil working 1:1
Monarch Education is working in partnership with a school in Downend, South Gloucestershire. You will be supporting a Year 2 pupil with ASD. The child's behaviour is balanced but they need additional support to attend lessons and stay on task.
Monarch Education values the role of a teaching assistant and recognises the significant positive impact that a teaching assistant can bring to a classroom and to the pupils. We therefore offer up to £105.89 per day.
Hours
The school hours are 08:30 - 3:30 each day Monday to Friday.
Skills Base
Display patience, resilience and empathy
Good knowledge of the curriculum would be beneficial but not essential
A knowledge of ASD is a benefit
Experience working in a school or education based setting preferable but not essentialHow to get there
The school is easily accessible by car and numerous bus routes.
