Salary: £85–£95 per day, depending on experience

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Secondary Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. This is a full-time position working 1:1 with pupils in Years 7–10 who have Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and/or physical disabilities. The role involves working under the guidance of the school’s SENDCo (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator).
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored 1:1 support to students with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)
Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in school life
Implement and support personalised learning plans under the direction of the SENDCo
Contribute to the inclusive ethos and positive learning environment of the school
Requirements:
Essential: Experience working with children or young people with SEND
Desirable: Previous experience in a classroom or educational setting
