Job Title: 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant (Complex Needs) – September Start
Location: Greenwich
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time (potential to go permanent)
Are you an experienced and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference?
We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child with complex needs who is accessing learning within a mainstream classroom. This is a full-time role starting in September, ideal for a confident and proactive TA with a strong background in special educational needs.
The Role:

Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with complex needs throughout the school day.
*
Help the pupil access learning within a mainstream classroom, adapting materials and strategies as needed.
*
Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to implement and review the pupil’s learning and support plans.
*
Use positive behaviour strategies and communication techniques tailored to the child's needs.
What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience supporting children with complex or high-needs SEND, ideally in a primary setting.
*
A calm, patient, and resilient approach with the ability to build trust and rapport.
*
Strong communication and teamworking skills.
*
Understanding of EHCPs, differentiation, and inclusive practices.
