Role Overview:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant (SEND TA), you will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support to students with a variety of needs. Your role will be vital in helping students access the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities of SEND Teaching Assistant (SEND TA):
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEND.
Assist in the delivery of differentiated and inclusive lessons.
Support behaviour management and encourage positive social interactions.
Adapt learning materials to suit individual student needs.
Track student progress and communicate effectively with staff and parents.
Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements for SEND Teaching Assistant (SEND TA):
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND in an educational setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to learning support.
Ability to provide a ten-year career history with references covering the last two years, including your most recent educational role.
A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
