SEND Teaching Assistant - Primary School in Haringey
Full-time | Term Time Only | £90-£101 per day (PAYE)
A warm and welcoming one-form entry primary school in Haringey is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This long-term, full-time position is ideal for someone passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.
Role Details:
Start: Immediate
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 08:30am - 3:45pm
Pay: £90 - £101 per day (PAYE)
Contract: Term time only - Long-term
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils in Reception and Year 1 with Autism
Supporting learning both within the classroom and through targeted interventions outside the classroom
Assisting with pupils' emotional regulation, wellbeing, and behaviour management
Working collaboratively with the class teacher and SENDCo to implement individualised learning plans
About You:
You have solid experience supporting children with SEND, particularly Autism
You are patient, empathetic, and committed to helping young learners reach their potential
You are confident managing behaviour and supporting emotional needs in a nurturing manner
You can work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
