We are seeking a supportive and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a lovely primary school in Barnet. This role is to support a little boy in Year 3 on a 1:1 basis, helping him to engage with learning, develop confidence, and enjoy his time at school.
The role will involve:
Providing 1:1 classroom support throughout the school day.
Helping the child access the curriculum and stay engaged in lessons.
Supporting social skills, independence, and emotional wellbeing.
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO.
The ideal candidate will:
Have previous experience supporting children with SEN (desirable but not essential).
Be patient, caring, and adaptable.
Build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Have a genuine passion for working with children.
