Job Description
SEND Teaching Assistant - Shirley, Solihull
Monarch Education are currently working with an Infants School in the Shirley area of Solihull; to find an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. This will be a regular Thursday role, 8.30am - 3.30pm until at least Christmas. It is important that you have experience with SEND and Interventions for this role.
Requirements of applicant:
You Must have experience with Special Educational Needs for this role
Experienced supporting children with SEND - especially Autism and Behaviour Difficulties
Confident and experienced individual who is able to assess situations before acting on them
Ideally you would hold a Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Education for this role, however this is not essentialMain Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver targets 1:1 and small group interventions to support pupils' academic and social development
Provide tailored support to pupils in KS1 with high SEND Needs
Ensure individual learning ande care plans are followed effectively
Support pupils in developing positive behaviour, resilience and indepdence through consistent strategies
Promoted the holistic development of every child
