SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Bingley, West Yorkshire
Start Date: ASAP or negotiable
Contract: Full-time / Part-Time - Term-time only
Salary: £90 - £95 per day

The Education Network are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and forward-thinking school in Bingley. This is a fantastic opportunity for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them to access the curriculum and develop socially, emotionally, and academically.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEND needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH)
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions
Support pupils in developing confidence, independence, and positive behaviour
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
Maintain accurate records and contribute to EHCP reviews and progress reportsRequirements:
Experience working with children with SEND (in a school or similar setting)
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) is desirable but not essential
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
