SEND Teaching Assistant - Surrey Full time Long term SurreyI am currently recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to support children with SLD, Complex needs, and ASD. As a Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will support students on a one-on-one basis throughout the school day. Your role will involve supporting pupils in the classroom, participating in specialist mentoring sessions, and assisting during some break times. The classes are made up of small number of children from the ages of 2-18 years, and the classes are built up based on the needs of the children rather than their age. As a key member of the child's support team, you will collaborate closely with the SENCO, senior management, and external professionals such as therapists, healthcare providers, and CAMHS. Full-time Opportunity for a permanent contract Full registration is completed remotely online School Hours 8.30am-4pm Job Requirements Experience in supporting children or young adults with SEND is desirable but is not essential.
