National Teaching Assistant Program (NTaP)
Locations SEND placements are available in primary and secondary schools across Essex.
The National Teaching Assistant Program (NTaP) is recruiting dedicated, empathetic individuals to train and work as SEND Teaching Assistants in schools across Essex.
What You’ll Do
As a SEND Teaching Assistant through NTaP, you will:
Provide tailored support for children with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, dyslexia, SEMH, and physical or sensory difficulties
Work one-to-one or in small groups to help pupils access learning and build essential skills
Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing, communication, and independence
Implement strategies and resources recommended by teachers and specialists
Create a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive
