Full-Time Teaching Assistants – SEND Schools across Wirral
Daily rate: £90 – £110 | Immediate & long-term opportunities
Do you have a passion for supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with specialist SEND schools across the Wirral, and we are looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our growing team.
What you’ll be doing:
Supporting students with a variety of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, and challenging behaviour.
Helping pupils access learning and encouraging social and emotional development.
Providing personal care with professionalism, dignity, and compassion.
Working closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure pupils achieve their full potential.
What we’re looking for:
Previous experience working in SEND is essential.
Understanding of ASC, ADHD, and strategies for managing challenging behaviour is an advantage.
A patient, resilient, and caring nature.
Willingness to provide personal care when required.
