Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs and looking for a rewarding challenge? Thrive Group is seeking dedicated SEND Tutor to make a real difference.
Thrive Education Group is looking for a dedicated SEND Tutor to work 1:1 with a Year 10 student who has ASD and ADHD. This part-time position involves 4 hours of work per day, Monday to Friday, focusing on Maths tutoring and engagement activities. The tutoring will take place at the student's home and potentially at school.
SEND Tutor:
* Tailored Learning: Planning and delivering engaging Maths and other relevant academic content.
* Progress Tracking: Providing weekly reports on student attendance and academic progression.
* Collaborative Communication: Liaising with local authorities and virtual schools to provide regular updates on student sessions.
* Holistic Support: Assisting students with their mental well-being and facilitating their successful transition back into school environments.
What We're Looking For:
* Essential Experience: Previous experience working with students with special educational needs is a must.
* Qualifications: A teaching qualification or a strong background in SEN tutoring.
* Personal Attributes: Exceptional patience and resilience.
