Highlights of the Role: Full time SENDCo position with leadership responsibility and TLR A dedicated SEND team, including experienced teaching assistants and access to high-quality external provision Strong culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement Modern facilities and resources that support individualised learning pathways Clear progression routes, with investment in CPD including the NASENCo qualification (if not already held)About You: We are seeking a qualified teacher who: Is an experienced SENDCo or an aspiring SEND leader with substantial classroom experience Holds, or is willing to undertake, the National Award for SEN Coordination Has a deep understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, EHCP processes and person-centred planning Can lead and inspire staff, monitor progress rigorously, and develop high-impact interventions Believes in every child’s right to a fully inclusive and ambitious educationAbout the School: Located in a diverse and thriving Birmingham community Recently recognised by Ofsted for its nurturing ethos and inclusive culture Part of a growing network of schools committed to collaboration and innovation Actively promotes staff well-being and workload balanceWhat Colleagues Say: “This school empowers its SENDCo to lead with confidence and compassion.
