Job Description
As SENDCO, you’ll lead and manage the SEND provision, ensuring it meets statutory requirements and drives student success. Key responsibilities include:

Developing and overseeing the school’s SEND policies and strategic direction.
*
Training staff on effective SEND interventions and inclusive practices.
*
Managing assessments, EHCPs, and resource allocation.
*
Engaging and collaborating with parents, carers, and external professionals.
*
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of provision and making improvements.
This role offers the opportunity to shape inclusive education and make a measurable impact across the school community.
Required Experience / Qualifications
*
QTS via BEd, PGCE, or equivalent
*
National Award for SEND Coordination (NASENCO) or equivalent
*
DBS check required
*
Experience in SEND teaching or leadership
*
Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
