SENDCo / Head of Access to Learning Faculty - QTS Required Leadership Opportunity | Inclusive Ethos | Secondary Education Are you an experienced and passionate teacher with a commitment to supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? We are seeking a SENDCo / Head of Access to Learning Faculty to lead and coordinate provision, ensuring every student is supported to reach their potential. This is a senior role with both strategic and operational responsibilities, offering the opportunity to make a significant difference to the lives of young people in a large, vibrant secondary school. About the School This is a mixed, non-selective 11-16 secondary school with over 1,600 pupils. The school combines academic ambition with outstanding pastoral support, providing a secure, caring, and inclusive environment where all students are encouraged to achieve their full potential. The Role - SENDCo / Head of Access to Learning Faculty As SENDCo, you will: Lead the strategic development of the school's SEN policy and provision Coordinate day-to-day provision for pupils with SEND or a disability Provide professional guidance to colleagues, parents, carers, and external agencies Monitor and evaluate the quality of provision, ensuring inclusion across the school community Oversee alternative learning provision and the effective deployment of support staff Work closely with the leadership team to drive whole-school improvement and promote an inclusive ethosWhy Join Us?
