Job Description
We are currently recruiting the below job opportunity with a modern and forward-thinking accountancy firm in Derby. They have great people, a very friendly and flexible working culture based around doing high quality work for clients and balancing work with life for employees. Hybrid working is available with some home working available each week, flexible hours and a dynamic and interesting workload, offering career development, client contact and a focus on adding value.
The firm will discuss the exact job role at interview, but they’re expecting to hire at least an Accountant or Senior Accountant position through to a full Client Manager role.
To manage a portfolio of clients to ensure their financial needs are met for taxation and all regulatory requirements
To manage a client portfolio to ensure that the practice is giving great service
To ensure all accounts work is prepared to budget and within statutory deadlines, regulatory and compliance requirements and within the UK’s tax laws and regulatory frameworks
To lead pre and post year end meetings with clients
To prepare notes/actions points following such meetings with timelines that are required.
To ensure tasks are completed and client are satisfied with service, dealing with any feedback or concerns
To supervise a team of junior staff including reviewing work, mentoring, training and development
