Position: Senior/Semi Senior Accountant
Location: Coventry
Package: Up to £40,000, 30 days holiday, free parking, study support, progression
Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm
A fantastic position has opened within a highly experienced, and family oriented Accountancy Practice in Coventry. They Are hiring for a Senior/Semi Senior Accountant to join their dedicated and growing team
This position is well suited to someone part qualified or fully qualified, looking to take the next step in their career. This means you will be taking charge of a portfolio of clients, taking on new responsibilities, and providing exposure that other practices won't give. Senior Accountant Job Overview
Produce accurate year-end accounts, management accounts, and tax returns across a varied client portfolio.
Oversee bookkeeping and ensure all client records meet compliance standards.
Build strong client relationships and provide proactive, practical advice.
Manage deadlines, spot issues early, and deliver a reliable, high-quality service.
Review junior team members' work and support their development.
Champion cloud accounting software and help streamline internal processes.
Contribute ideas that enhance efficiency and improve client experience.
Senior Accountant Job Requirements
Must be at a minimum part ACCA/ACA qualified
Able to comfortably commute to Coventry
Minimum of 3 years UK Accountancy Practice experience
Experience working within a portfolio of clients, and liaising directly with clients
Excellent organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills
