Senior Accountant Job Overview
Compliance - Prepare and review accounts and initial tax computations for a varied portfolio. Ensuring all compliance deadlines are met and maintain up-to-date records for HMRC and companies house
Advisory - Provide advisory services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and efficiency, protection of assets, tax implications, and provide guidance on tax-efficient structuring
General - Collaborate with other departments within the firm to deliver integrated services to clients. Mentoring and supporting junior staff members, providing training and development opportunities
Senior Accountant Job Requirements
ACA or ACCA qualified, or part qualified, or Qualified by Experience
Preferably a minimum of 10 years of experience in accounts within an accountancy practice
Comprehensive knowledge of UK accounting legislation
Proven experience in providing business advisory services to owner managed businesses
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in using tax software and Microsoft office applications
