Key Account Manager - Food Industry
Location: Derbyshire
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Car Allowance
Type: Full-time | Permanent
Are you a commercially driven Key Account Manager with a flair for building long-lasting customer relationships in the food industry? We're representing a well-established business that's looking for a confident, strategic individual to manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts.
You'll work alongside a supportive leadership team, taking ownership of your accounts while identifying opportunities to drive profitable growth and long-term client satisfaction.
What You'll Be Doing:
Managing and growing key customer accounts across the foodservice or wholesale sector
Building and executing joint business plans that deliver real commercial value
Taking ownership of account-level P&Ls and ensuring strong margins
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction
Leading on forecasting and working closely with the supply chain
Identifying new product opportunities and supporting innovation
Representing the business at a senior level with professionalism and purpose
Handling issues and admin with attention to detail and commercial awarenessWhat We're Looking For:
Proven experience in key or national account management, ideally within food or FMCG
Strong commercial acumen and confidence managing full account profitability
A proactive, strategic thinker with the ability to manage day-to-day detail
Excellent communicator, able to build relationships across all levels
Highly organised with strong prioritisation and time management skills
Confident in meetings, presentations, and negotiationsWhat's on Offer:
