A leading engineering and environmental consultancy is seeking a Senior Acoustic Consultant to join its expanding team in Thetford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced acoustics professional to take a leading role within a growing division, delivering high-profile environmental and building acoustics projects across the UK.
As a Senior Acoustic Consultant, you'll manage complex projects from concept to completion, mentor junior consultants, and play a key role in developing the firm's acoustic capabilities. Duties for the role of Senior Acoustic Consultant include:
Managing and delivering environmental and building acoustics projects
Leading client communication and technical delivery
Overseeing site measurements, assessments, and modelling
Producing and reviewing detailed technical reports
Mentoring and developing junior team members
Supporting business development and strategic growth initiatives
Requirements:
Degree in Acoustics, Physics, or related discipline
5+ years' experience in building/environmental acoustics
Strong project management and client-facing skills
IOA membership (MIOA or higher) preferred
Full UK driving licence
