Job Title: Senior Acoustic Consultant
Location: Bristol (Hybrid)
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Excellent Benefits
A forward-thinking environmental and acoustic consultancy is seeking a Senior Acoustic Consultant to join its Bristol office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on diverse, high-profile projects across education, healthcare, residential, commercial, and performing arts sectors - where innovation and sustainability drive every design decision.
As a Senior Acoustic Consultant, you'll combine technical expertise with creative problem-solving to deliver sustainable, high-quality acoustic design. You'll play a key role in managing complex projects, supporting clients, and helping shape the next generation of acoustic practice.

Duties for the role of Senior Acoustic Consultant include:
Leading and delivering building acoustics projects from concept to completion
Producing detailed acoustic designs and reports compliant with UK standards
Undertaking sound insulation, vibration, and environmental testing
Working with software such as Odeon, CATT, INSUL, Cadna/A, and Revit
Collaborating across disciplines to integrate acoustics within wider BIM workflows
Mentoring junior colleagues and supporting their professional development
Requirements:
Proven experience in building acoustics
Excellent communication and project-management skills
Knowledge of construction acoustics, design principles, and UK regulations
Degree in Acoustics or a related field; MIOA preferred
