Senior Acoustic Consultant
£45,000-£55,000 + Benefits
Location: Surrey
Join an established, highly respected acoustic consultancy as a Senior Acoustic Consultant and help deliver flagship projects across the UK and overseas. This is a growth role with a clear path toward Principal level, combining technical leadership, client ownership, and team mentoring.
What you'll do
Lead end-to-end acoustic assessments and design across residential, commercial, education, and healthcare schemes.
Own client relationships-scope projects, provide expert advice, and ensure best-in-class delivery.
Apply and interpret BB93, BS 8233, and Approved Document E to achieve compliant, buildable solutions.
Mentor and support junior consultants, fostering quality, consistency, and development.
Produce clear, authoritative reports and ensure alignment with regulatory and industry standards.
About you
5+ years' experience in acoustic consultancy with strong building acoustics and environmental noise expertise.
Proficient with CadnaA, ODEON, or SoundPLAN (or equivalent).
Confident in client liaison, project management, and technical reporting.
Degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics or related discipline; full UK driving licence preferred.
